Dutchtown Main Streets and Allies of Marquette Park host family-friendly Movie Nights at Marquette Park and the Neighborhood Innovation Center during the summer. You, your family, your neighbors, and everyone else is invited! These events are free to the community.

Neighbors and community organizations usually start gathering around 7pm, and the show begins as soon as it’s dark.

2021 Movie Nights

Neighbors gathered in front of the Marquette Park Field House after Dutchtown Summer Vibes for Jurassic Park on the big screen, joined by Mia’s Treats Delight with tasty cookies to snack on during the event. Our first Movie Night of 2021 was a big success!

On a scorching hot summer night in July, the community still came out to Marquette Park for The Incredibles on the lawn in front of the Field House. We were joined by our friends from Dutchtown South Community Corporation and the Dutchtown Cure Violence team.

Dutchtown Dive-In Movie Night: Coco

Moviegoers took to the Marquette Park Pool on August 14th for our showing of Coco! This was the final evening the pool was open for the season, and many neighbors took advantage of the opportunity for one last summer swim.

2020 Movie Nights

Drive-In Movie: Independence Day

DT2 and Habitat for Humanity St. Louis hosted our first drive-in movie on June 26th, 2020.

Over 60 cars attended the drive-in, with Independence Day projected on the side of Habitat’s building. In addition to the movie, the event featured food trucks, community information, and the premiere of our Dutchtown Proud video. Read more about the Dutchtown Drive-In Movie.

Marquette Park Movie Night: Spies in Disguise

On July 25th, the 22-foot inflatable returned to the hill in front of the Marquette Park Field House for a Movie Night featuring the animated adventure Spies in Disguise. We also had food trucks, voter registration, and 2020 Census information. Read more about the July 2020 Dutchtown Movie Night.

Marquette Park Movie Night: Into the Spiderverse

Viewers gathered at the Marquette Park Field House on August 22nd, 2020 for Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse for the last Marquette Park Movie Night of the summer. We had a great turnout of neighbors and community organizations. Read more about our Movie Night in August 2020.

Our first movie night at Marquette Park was a huge success! Over 100 neighbors turned out to watch Marvel’s Black Panther on the big screen, and dozens of kids got to enjoy free pizza, popcorn, and Ted Drewes Frozen Custard.

The poolside showing of Disney’s Moana on August 10th, 2019 drew quite a crowd to the Marquette Park Pool for late-night swimming and entertainment.
