Come on out and meet your neighbors! We are having our first Grand-Bates neighborhood happy hour. This is a great opportunity to meet new neighbors, and catch up with those you already know. All neighbors welcome!

Join St. Cecilia Historic District and Grand-Bates Historic Neighborhood for the 2nd cleanup effort at Virginia and Bates. They will meet at Virginia and Bates, between the BP and Tin Cup, and spread out. This is to show our neighborhood businesses in this area that we are committed to improving the intersection, and make a main entrance into our neighborhoods more presentable. Bring your gloves, pickup tools, trash bags, and a friend or three.
Come join your neighbors from Grand-Bates for a Friday the 13th Happy Hour at The Haunt from 6pm–8pm, or as late as you want to hang out. The Haunt is at 5000 Alaska Ave at Delor. The bar is running happy hour specials from 3pm–7pm, and bands will be playing later that night. There is no cover for this event, but a $5 cover will be collected at 8:30 pm for those who wish to stay and enjoy live music. This is a non-smoking bar, with a spooky theme, and an eclectic crowd. Hope to see you all there!
Why shouldn’t we have a 2nd happy hour in April? It’s spring after all. Come join your neighbors for some drinks and food at MJ’S on the Park. Located on South Grand, just North of Carondelet park, in the Grand-Bates Historic Neighborhood. Sue always has great food available, and there’s plenty of cold beer behind the bar. We’ll see you there from 6pm–8pm.
Grab a drink with your neighbors and mingle on the Grand-Bates side of greater Dutchtown at The Tin Cup on Bates Street.
