Empty Bowls Project is a grassroots movement to help end hunger. You can take part in this special event thanks to Urban Eats Cafe and pottery artist David McBeth. Guests are invited for a meal of soup and bread, and as a “thank you” for donating to local hunger relief, are gifted a handmade bowl as a reminder of all of the empty bowls in the world.
All the proceeds from this event are donated to the St. Anthony’s of Padua food pantry to help people in need right here in our own neighborhood.
