Join Dutchtown South Community Corporation, Dutchtown Main Streets, DeSales Community Development, and St. Joseph Housing Initiative for our 5th annual South Side homeownership event!
Go South Side! brings together a wealth of information, resources, and opportunities for first-time homebuyers, low- and moderate-income buyers, renters, and anyone else looking to put down roots in the South Side neighborhoods of Dutchtown, Gravois Park, Mount Pleasant, and Marine Villa.
- Learn about special financing options for first-time buyers and low- and moderate-income buyers
- Meet local real estate agents who specialize in buying and selling South Side homes
- Connect with organizations that provide financial coaching and support
- Discover what makes the South Side an amazing place to call home!
In addition to boatloads of information, we’ll also have free drinks and snacks from South Side restaurants and some great South Side-themed giveaways for attendees. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to meet some of the neighbors who make the South Side a great place to call home, find out what we love about our neighborhoods, and learn why you’d be a great fit in our community.
Once again, Habitat for Humanity St. Louis is graciously hosting this event at their headquarters on South Grand Boulevard at Chippewa. Here are the details:
Wednesday, March 26th
6:00pm to 8:00 pm
Habitat for Humanity St. Louis
3830 South Grand Boulevard
You may see some major construction in the parking lot as Family Care Health Center is building their new 27,000-square-foot facility, but don’t be deterred—there’s still plenty of parking and easy access to Habitat from the south end of the building near Family Dollar.

Go Dutch! 2023
We gathered again in 2023 to discuss housing opportunities in Dutchtown at our third Go Dutch! event. Community Partners such as St. Joseph Housing Initiative, Prosperity Connection, and Lutheran Development Group shared information about affordable housing programs, and Dutchtown neighbor Dallas Adams told the story of her homeownership journey that started at our first Go Dutch! event (skip to 48:45).
Go Dutch! 2022
Our second Go Dutch! event took place in March of 2022, and we had a great time matching potential homeowners with local non-profits, real estate agents, lenders, and other service providers! You can take a look at our keynote presentation from last year by either viewing the slides or watching some of the videos below or on YouTube.
