Join Freedom Arts and Education Center for their original workshop “Pulse, Rhythm, Life” that will be hosted at Love Bank Park on Saturday, September 8th, 15th, and 22nd from noon to 2pm. This workshop demonstrates that when a group of people are united by a universal power such as rhythm, barriers are broken down and perspectives are expanded.
Learn basic beats on the drum set and how to participate in a hip-hop cipher. Participate in rhythmic and writing exercises and develop verbal, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Have an opportunity to be in a large ensemble where all drummers and vocalists come together with an organically composed piece of music.
