Come learn weaving and fiber basics with Charis Norell at Intersect Arts Center. At the end of the two classes, participants will have completed their own woven wall hanging.
Participants will review pattern-planning, warp a frame loom, and learn basic hand-weaving techniques such as weaving patterns, creating tassels, and safely removing work from the loom. Participants should bring a sketchbook/notebook to plan out their design, and bring any special yarns or colors they would like to use in their weavings.
