In an era when a woman’s time and attention were to be occupied by her husband and household, Charlotte and Emma aspire to be elegant, economical, and enlightened wives. However, the paths of their pursuits are polluted and poisoned— leaving them desperate for relief. In in ironic twist of fate they will use the social structures meant to subdue them to flip the status quo.
Leverage Dance Theater’s newest site-specific dance performance, The Forgotten, will run October 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th at Intersect Arts Center. Leverage will present an evening of immersive dance theater allowing the audience a unique experience as they follow the performers through the mazes, hallways, and stairwells of the newly renovated Intersect Arts Center.
