The SLMPD First District Quarterly Community Outreach Meeting will be held at the Carondelet YMCA Rec Plex at 7pm on Thursday, January 17th. New Chief John Hayden will be our guest speaker. Be sure to come and meet the new chief and present him with your questions and comments!

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s 1st District Quarterly Outreach Meeting will be at Grbic Restaurant, 4071 Keokuk at Meramec, on Wednesday, April 18th at 7pm. Meet with Captain Steven Mueller and Neighborhood Liaison Officers Rumpsa, Wilson, and Novara. Officers of the Month and other awards will be presented.
Officer Keith Novara will conduct a training for the Neighborhood Ownership Model (NOM) Citizens on Patrol (COP) program. Participants are trained to identify problems and engage law enforcement to intervene when they believe a crime is occurring, and to understand the needs of your neighborhood and report back on problems identified during patrol. Even if you aren’t interested in joining an organized patrol you will learn things every neighbor should know.
