Dutchtown Common is a new space for neighbors to come together! Located on Virginia Avenue at Liberty Street, next to the VAL Community Garden, these long-vacant lots were acquired from the City’s Land Reutilization Authority (LRA) by Dutchtown Main Streets to be transformed into a welcoming space to hold community events and activities.
Work at Dutchtown Common is ramping up in 2026! We’ll soon have electricity in the park, just in time to host our Dutchtown Summer Vibes concert series on the final Fridays of May, June, and July. Additional amenities coming soon include more seating, new signage, edible orchards, and more.

How You Can Help Build Dutchtown Common
To fund the improvements at Dutchtown Common, Dutchtown Main Streets has partnered with the St. Louis Arts Chamber of Commerce to offer Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) tax credits. Missouri businesses of all sizes, from sole proprietorships to mega-corporations, can make an eligible donation that provides a 50% credit against state income taxes as well as a deduction against federal taxes. For more details and to contribute, visit the Arts Chamber of Commerce’s NAP credits page or contact Sandy at (314) 965-4975 or sandy@stlartschamber.org.
Dutchtown Main Streets also accepts donations anytime! Make a one-time contribution or set up a monthly donation to support our community building efforts in Dutchtown. Visit dutchtownstl.org/donate or click one of the buttons below.

And if you’ve got time and skills to offer, we’re always looking for volunteers! We need help planning, implementing, and managing projects, maintaining the space, putting on events like Dutchtown Spring Fling and Dutchtown Autumn Chill, sourcing grants to fund improvements and events, and more! Tell us how you’d like to help by completing our volunteer application.
